| So I was inspired to design a pet this weekend. This is Tefnut, and she's an older lady. That's all I have so far, and it might change at any moment, haha. Unfortunately pencil doesn't scan well so I need to work on this picture. My laptop doesn't accept my tablet, so I'm thinking of inking it by hand so I can at least colour it... |

| Woah, this looks amazing. You captured the age look very well. I like how the trees on her back look like wings, and the tree on the forehead reminds me of a horn Very cool! |

| Thank you, Blissy! Do you have a first pet or pet species in mind yet? That reminds me, I really still need to ink this...Where have all my free afternoons gone? |

| So I finally got around to inking it. It's been a long time since I inked, my shading needs a lot of work. But it came out alright, I guess. Now to find time to colour it, maybe. XD |

| What a beaut <3 What are you planning on coloring her with? I bet she'd look beautiful with colored pencil, watercolor, or even digital! _________________ Lovely art of Carter by kium! |

| Well, I have no coloured pencils and I inked her on 'calcium paper' (not sure how to translate that, it doesn't hold water at all) so it will have to be digital, haha. But imitating a water colour wash might be a good idea! |

| Oh wow, I haven't worked with calcium paper before! Is it more like a drawing paper or something a bit more like vellum?
Also - CUTE Bori! Love the details all around too, I bet that would look nice on their pet page c: _________________ Lovely art of Carter by kium! |

| Yeah, I might enter the BC if I can find the time to adverstise. I'm sure you've seen the paper before, I probably just messed up the name XD It's this sort of thick transparant paper. My mom uses it in her design work. It's wonderful for ink and pencil, not so much for anything else. I highly recommend it, it's super handy. When I worked on excavations in Egypt we always used it. |

| You'd definitely have my vote! c:
Ahhh yes! I know what you're talking about now! And it soaks the ink right up eh? I can't remember which, but I worked with one called duralar and it did NOT want to accept inks very well but was splendid for colored pencil and carbon dust~ _________________ Lovely art of Carter by kium! |

| Yes, it soaks up ink very well. But I'm sure it differs per brand, I usually take coarser sheets for ink and very fine ones for pencil line drawings |
